The chuckle is you send them a faulty watch which they assess and agree needs repairing and then they ask you if they should proceed. Like you are gonna say NO

Oh yeah shutdown for sure. This is what their web site says: My last parts order (prepaid) is weeks old and not being filled. My darn parts order better not get plucked for someone else’s order who came in after me

FINALLY!
Seiko got back to me. Almost 5 months.
Unrepairable, full replacement under warranty. Thankfully I purchased from an AD (Mimo’s Jewelry) or else I couldn’t use the warranty.
So, I should get a new one in the mail 👍🏻

Glad you got it back but the jewellers should just have replaced it.

Hmm...I just got an SNJ025. It doesn't have this problem, but after reading about the trouble you had I am very careful not to crank the pusher locks too hard in one direction or the other.
Was yours an early one? Do you know the serial? Mine is from July, 2019. I hope it was a manufacturing problem and not a design problem.
Other than being a bit too large, I think it is a great watch!

Good to see America's last dot matrix printer is still working well. Let's not forget this is the same company that still uses 1970s vintage QT-99s to time brand new Grand Seikos before they leave the factory!

Meanwhile the bottom crown is wonky. It opens and closes tight BUT the threads aren’t smooth feeling on the crown. It feels like it skips a couple threads.
