So itβs 12:12 in the morning. Jumbo says 17th but still waiting for the day to make the change. Good night! And good morning to those on the other half of our planet π

Despite yesterdayβs new arrival Iβm carrying on the Presage theme with the SRPD41J1 Zen Garden. According to SEIKO, these are inspired by the vibrant colours and textures unique to Japanese gardens - in this case, the blue of the lakes - while the hour markers reflect the texture and shape of the garden stones. Caught at the right angle, it certainly is a beautiful dial.

Testing my SKX009 again, it runs fine but have a little 22h power reserve. I bought a NH36 quite some time ago and I'm waiting for a crown to swap movements, although I'd like to keep it original.

As its: (a) Sunday (b) Sunny (c) not at risk as I'm not going anywhere I thought I'd give my rarest Seiko a day on the wrist: June '75 3883-7019 ROW export GFA 'Morpho butterfly' One day I'll find a NOS replacement dial and then it'll be perfect π and on that day I'll win the lottery and Satan will go to work on ski's π

And good morning to those on the other half of our planet π I see a pattern here Seth... opening the WRUW thread before you go to bead makes my job easier on this other side of the planet to find the thread already initiated when I wake up So glad I got this watch back to my collection... I guess one has to let go to something before really appreciating it at its fullest potential ...

Arnie for a trip to Waitrose. Only needed a few bits but wine and gin were at critical levels and needed urgent topping up.

Today's Seiko golf tip of the day: a good way to practice sand shots is with sand only: no ball.
At least it wasn't snowing out today.
