I wore this a couple of weeks ago after I’d dropped in a new dial. I had it on a tan leather strap, and it just didn’t look or feel right. I decided to pull the trigger on an Uncle Seiko President for it, and I’m really glad I did. Perfect fitting end links, great feel, and it makes the watch so much better. I had to use some generic spring bars though, as I couldn’t get it to fit for love nor money using the ones it shipped with! 4006-7002 from March ‘72.

It's a 6106 (chevron) with a NOS 6119 temporarily fitted dial.

This one came to me with either modern or AM hands that always looked wrong (rounded edges and bright green lume). Today I finally got around to swapping some hands off a rough and ready beater. Looks much better, even if the lume is a little grungy.
