Some more 7A love for me. Have a great day guys. Bank holiday in the UK, not that it makes all that much difference to a lot of people.

Got this one back on the wrist today after some maintenance. First issue was that the battery died after only a year (and I'd previously serviced it). Since this wasn't the first time a battery ran short in it, I switched out the circuit and coil with a known good one. Hopefully that solves the problem. Second issue was an erratic second hand (some long ticks, some short ticks). Since I had the same issue with a 7548 recently I figured the problem was that the top of the hand was loose on the tube. It was. I managed to crimp the rivet tighter and that problem was solved. Reassembled yesterday only to find the second hand caught on the tip of the minute hand overnight. Back inside today to correct that. God I hate front loaders. Hopefully all sorted now.

There must be something about this particular case shape as this is the third variant of it in my collection: August '78 0920-8000 QZ

Today's Seiko golf tip of the day: the key to success in team play is finding a partner you are comfortable with.

Beautiful hot Memorial Day and our dumbf*ck Governor (Adolf Beshear) has not allowed any pools to open, even our neighborhood pool, and so far no word as to if they will even open in June.

My graduation from college present from my grandmother in 1996. I used and abused it for years. Fresh battery and gaskets change.
