New to me. Used to dislike monsters (used to dislike tunas as well... ) Had an orange first gen a while back as I considered second gen a little uglier. Now this is my favorite. Strange how taste evolve over time

Speaking of tastes changing. I've acquired so many H601 / H558 Arnie divers over the years and I've sold every one of them because there was a point that I not only despised quartz watches, but I also despised digital. I couldn't bring myself to wear a hybrid like this.
I'm glad my view changed because these are now some of my favorites.

The glorious weather continues here in south east England, so I’m carrying on with chores around the garden. This was the first Orient watch I bought long before watches became an addiction, and it was my daily wearer for a number of years. Solid, reliable, and what I now refer to as my ‘beater’ 😂

Ok bit of a serious one today. As you may be aware I’ve been doing the push-up challenge and each day is a little fact to correspond to each push up. 232 push ups today and here’s why- copied and pasted: MENTAL HEALTH FACT Of the 3046 push-ups you or your team are completing this year, 2320 of them represent men who lost their life to suicide in Australia in 2018. That’s over 75% of the total. Women experience mental health issues at higher rates than men, but men are less likely to seek help for them. Some spaces within our communities exist especially to support the mental health of the men in our lives, like the Men’s Shed. Men’s Sheds provide open workspaces where men can socialise, work, or help out their communities. If you or a male you know needs to talk to someone about mental health, Mensline is a national service for men providing referrals, counselling and support. Call 1300 78 99 78 (24 hours a day Australia). mensshed.org/To learn more or donate www.thepushupchallenge.com.au/pushuperer/34891

Just getting back to a regular routine, so I definitely need both day and date to keep me oriented. I pulled old faithful from its long winter’s nap to lend a hand.

Back to my recently acquired 6139-8020 today but with a new bracelet found on an unsuspecting 7009 '5'. I'm pretty certain it's not the original for the -8020 but it looks a lot better than what was on there before!

Aloha This for a while today Louis Israeli ADI Interesting find Louis. It's like a baby Arnie version with a sort of tuna-like bezel. I know Adi is assembled in Israel on a kibbutz utilizing outsourced parts. I believe their quartz movements are Miyotas.
The fact yours is engraved in Hebrew means it may have been military issued. Adi is used by military. The logo is not recognizable to me concerning what branch or specialized unit. The IDF uses the Star of David but it contains a dagger and leaf in it.
Cool nonetheless.

Today's Seiko golf tip of the day: to hit a good iron shot, your club must contact the ball before the sole of the club gets to the bottom of it's arc.
