I love a lot of vintage seiko divers and for sure there are a lot of iconic cases/dials out there. There is something about an SKX though that makes it stand out and be an icon on its own

Happy Monday. I got a sneaky surprise today. Some of you may remember this shot from a watch challenge many years ago... Well it wasn’t my watch. Just a bold photo of a patient recovering from a very recent heart attack- minutes.... Well the owner of that watch shared it with me for that challenge and today has surprised me with it again as an indefinite share. What a gift and what a great bunch of people. Thanks tritto I still can’t wipe the smile off my dial.

My pleasure, camrok. I'm sure it will save many more lives on your wrist than it would on mine. 🩺

7549 today. Inspired by a surfer I saw on the beach yesterday wearing a golden tuna on canvas. I know the guy by sight so I'll chat him up next time I see him. Expected nothing less from him, he looks like he's been plucked out from Hawaii. Him and his Toyota Landcruiser loaded with surfboards. Rob

‘Mini-Turtle’ today. Still on the hunt for the original turtle but for now I really enjoy looking down at this.

Busy day at work, new starter and it’s no fun inducting someone while distancing from them. Back home late and trying to sit in the garden with a glass of white but some of the mozzies are like the ravenous bugblatter beast of Traal.
