Should I expect discount when buying a new GS from recognised AD's in the UK.

In the US nearly all the Grand Seiko ADs will discount. You must ask they are not supposed to offer it up.
I actually got a 10% discount offer from the Seiko Boutique in Amsterdam which is unheard of for a corporate shop.

I would imagine most retailers are offering discounts at the moment Don, it’s dire out there.

As pip said, given the current economic conditions, I imagine that most ADs would be willing to give discounts. I'm not familiar with the UK, but in the U.S. you can get a discount on pretty much any GS except for the highly desirable Limited Editions.

It may be dire out there, but retailers aren’t really discounting via their on-line platforms. Maybe the situation might change once non-essential retail opens next week, given they’ll have all the overheads associated with an open store to cover. If you can manage to get to an AD and discuss face-to-face then you might get lucky.
