Watch shot told a story I didn’t expect this morning.

The latest addition to the collection arrived this morning, a green-dialled Weekly Auto Orient King Diver from Orient’s 70th Anniversary Revival Collection.

I love those Crafter Blues. They look great, solidly built, quality rubber, and lighten up the wrist. I just wish I could lay the watch down normally on the case back. Instead I have to put it back on the pillow or prop it up. I really don't like leaving them on their side.
But, I have one for my Sumo but it's been nothing but problems. When I take off the watch, the spring bar(s) pop out! I sent it back to where I bought it for an exchange and the exact same thing is happening. Tried different bars, no luck. I'm wondering if the vendor got a bad batch. I guess I'll have to contact them.

I'm a big fan and probably my favorite combo. I added shoulderless spring bars for added security on mine. Could have been the hole alignment between watch and strap, but I didn't feel comfortable with the regular spring bars.

Good thing these cases have drilled lugs.
What kind did you use? Are they thick enough so it doesn't make a gap in the case/strap like a thinner bar would?

Could have been hole alignment then. I've had 3 different Sumos, but just one CB strap. One watch was extremely difficult to get the spring bars engaged, to the point I felt like the watch could free itself with the wrong movement. The others were noticably easier. That's why I went shoulderless on both watches. No issues since. May check here. Formerly known as ToxicNato. www.utewatchco.com/products/toxicbars

I don’t sail but I do love a yacht master. I’d really like a 7A28-7090 but it’s not an option at the moment, prices are through the roof.
