Funny not so funny, a coworker that I turned into an Oris fan 20+ years ago, decided to buy one for his daughter as a high school graduation present a couple years ago. He isn't a watch guy really he wanted something quality and uncommon (pricey) for himself and just figured the brand worked for him it would work for her...I said what did you get and he mentioned the style and asked me about the "other hand with red on the end"? without seeing it I said "dude its the date pointer...and that the calendar was around the dial 1-31!!!" (He's an engineer and got a MBA from a name brand institution too) He asked what about the months that don't have 31 days? I said get a perpetual calendar, what do you when your Oris becomes out of sink? He told me he never pays that much attention to it!!!!
