Which one to pick for my SRP777 that I had modded with a vintage patina process to the dial and bezel insert... 1) OEM rubber 2) Toxic NATO strap 3) Vintage inspired thick leather strap 4) Vintage bracelet from Japan made by Bear
5) Another choice? Uncle Seiko GL81, Tropic, etc...
Thanks gents!
Oh excuse my desk keyboard mat. Many mugs of coffee have left their mark without a cleaning yet. Bachelor living boys! Don't worry, me undies are clean!

I'd go with a Razor-Wire with curved end links from Uncle Seiko. Would also suggest you get an extra set of end links to fit the SKX cases if you have any. Options, my boy!

Uncle Seiko GL831. Best available, IMHO. Total winner.
Keep in mind the New Arnie rectangular vented rubber strap with metal keeper is, in my experience, even better. Softer rubber.

I also have the stock bracelet that came with another SRP. DEFINITE NO !Stop beating around the bush and tell me what you really think. 😆 I’ll be honest, most rubber straps don’t work for me. Either too tight or one hole too loose and the watch slops around. I’ll try the Uncle Seiko strap but if it doesn’t work I’m going for his traditional timeless looking oyster bracelet.

One problem I have with most newer Seiko dive straps is that they tend to be lint magnets. They always look grubby.

I ain't gonna lie, that rubber strap is the bees knees. Can't go wrong with black, it's pliable, not too much vent at the lugs, and the material and fit is amazing. Plus, for summer time, it's the best for cleaning off. So I can do outdoorsy stuff with it and not stink up the NATO and leather.
But I think I'm going to test run the NATO, OEM rubber, and leather strap to see. It has to feel comfortable to.
Is the Uncle Seiko the same material as the OEM or more rigid?
Still contemplating a traditional, timeless oyster bracelet.

I like Barton Canvas straps. Tan strap would give it a weathered, military look Rob

You might also want to consider a Barton Elite Silicon strap. Super comfortable and it ain't a lint magnet btw. Lots of colors, perhaps a shade of gray? Here's on on my 6309 mod.

I really think you can’t go wrong with that black rubber strap. Looks great and is functional as you mentioned especially for being outdoors in the summer.
+1 for me

It looked awesome. Thick, substantial, rugged, weathered, etc... It's only $14.99 on eBay with free shipping from a US seller. I think I might check it out. Bartons straps are really nice. I have a couple.

Nato does it for me, great watch mate. Thank you. I have a grey NATO on my other SRP that I had the patina mod performed on.
