Today's outing to Wineglass Bay. It's a steep hike over the pass between the mountains that featured in yesterday's photo, but well worth it.

Lovely little Skyliner 6220-7020 from March ‘66. I don’t think anyone can argue with the fact that SEIKO produced some absolutely stunning dress watch designs in the 1960’s.

I had to remove the plastic waffle (unknown and rather uncomfortable) in favour of a new Di-Modell.

Just had all the windows replaced in my townhouse so now the joyous task of washing, scrubbing and cleaning of Venetian blinds begins. Will start of with this guy..... ...and complete the day with beer in hand with this one.

I had to remove the plastic waffle (unknown and rather uncomfortable) in favour of a new Di-Modell. Wonderful condition! Nice piece.
To be honest, I hate those plastic-like chocolate bars and waffle straps made for this model and its older brother. They look junky, not pliable and they're all either too loose or too tight on me. There's no "just right" hole on the strap to fit comfortably. Either I'm constricted or floppy and the watch heads stands proud off my wrist cause it's so rigid.
Your new strap has a nice contour your wrist and fits just right.

These Di_Modell Rallye Wapro's are very comfortable. I have them on a number of watches now because they hold the head in position. They are also available with different colour stitching (beige, white, yellow, red, blue, orange) which adds to the fun.
