Outstanding review - as always !
The particular Valjoux 7750 used in the Prince line is the top tief, COSC and ***might*** even be upjeweled in-house by Tudor/Rolex as they often do, although I am not schooled in this particular model.
I have a few Tudors and they are lovely. Always a question, prefer the Tudor Rose or the Shield ? Depends on the model for me.
Thanks for sharing the link !

Like modding a crate motor.
Mine, like Razy's is from Tudor as it's around the time they broke off from Rolex officially. Some of the earlier models will have Rolex signed crowns and case backs. Those were the "Big Blocks" since they were bigger than the Prince line. I have a Date Day from 1984 with 14k Rolex signed crown and stainless case back.
My Prince Date maintains impeccable time and a flick of the wrist sends the buttery rotor whizzing for 7/8 seconds. Last time it was serviced, the rotor bearing was replaced. It's a phenomenal movement.
The Tudor Rose especially on vintage dress pieces (pre 1980's) and the shield on the more modern sport pieces. In my opinion.

I was so focused on taking the pic and I forgot to ensure a DNA free environment

I also like the rose 🌹 or the shield 🛡 depending on the model. I find both logos v cool! And so distinct from THE crown.... Now I am contemplating a first gen black bay with the rose on dial and crown and the smiley face and a Pelagos (first gen ETA or ... the LHD).
