I have a 1971 Seiko 6139-6002 Pogue in need of a new bezel insert (blue/red). Been in a drawer for 20 years but functions perfectly. Looking for advice about removal of original insert and fitting replacement part. Crystal cracked so removed and bezel already removed. All may be beyond my skill level so academic interest before looking for someone to do service referb.

Hiya, if itβs been in a drawer for that long it will need a service for sure, which there are a few in here can help you with. What country are you in?

golfer you posted n the Practice Posting area. Now moved to where odds are much greater it will be seen by others. Note also you did not credit for a post. Too bad as you need 5 posts to send a private message (PM). Pip asked what country are you in. That might influence who to use. Post a photo too ! My Pogues back in the day: :

Welcome to Wrist Sushi. I'm new here too but have learned that there are several good people who can do miracles with these watches. Some are here in the USA with others in the UK and Australia. Tell us where you are located and we can make some suggestions.

So I have moved this once again. PLEASE take a moment to familiarize yourself with the various sub-boards on the forum.
New Members is not where a new member posts a thread about his watch. Please see how that works. And on that note,
Practice posting is not where you put anything that counts.
HERE on the Japanese Forum is the best place.
Thanks Jennie too !
