Hello Everyone,
I came across this forum as I own a Seiko Flightmaster 7T34-6A00 which I have owned since new. It was given to me as I was interested in being a pilot. These days I am not a pilot but have had a long career in aviation.
Over the years it has been a great watch that has always kept accurate time and I treasure it very much, however it has been knocked around and has a few issues from previous services that I would like to have looked at. After one service moisture entered the case and it was returned to be fixed. Another time my band broke and the watch flew from wrist and took a large hit and the crystal was scratched badly. It was serviced but the seconds sub dial is slightly out of time with the alarm subdial by about 8 or 9 seconds. At the time it was not a showstopper for me but I would now like it fixed.
I came to the forum to find someone that can overhaul my Seiko. I would also be interested to see if the crystal can br replaced with a sapphire crystal.
What I would like is to find someone that really knows what they are doing and will take the time to ensure it will run accurately for years to come.
Keen to hear here from anyone that can help!
Mark

Hi Mark. Welcome to WristSushi. There are quite a few Aussies here. The recommended guy for vintage Seiko in Australia is Adrian at Vintage Time Australia. He's in Adelaide. Many members, including myself, have had him service and/or restore our Seiko watches. You can find his website at www.vintagetimeaustralia.com

Hi Tritto, Thanks for the welcome I am aware of Adrian after I started looking for parts on eBay, and have watched his videos on YouTube. I take it he is a busy guy as I did contact him but not heard back yet. From what you say and from what I have seen, Adrian is the go to man for what I am after Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark, you’ll find that the good guys get booked up mate. Some (not all) of the people with wait lists are worth waiting for. Adrian is definitely worth waiting for from what I know. Welcome aboard by the way. Pic of your watch would be great!

Adrian does have a lot of work on and can sometimes miss incoming messages. Give it a bit and then follow up.
