Beater Citizen. Great fat crystal, but a re-lume even Guy probably wouldn't be able to fix. Not to mention the glob of glue at the 4 o' clock marker. Rob

mini 007, i de-creased the watch by removing the tail fins, decreased it further by lowering the oddly shrugged shoulders of the lugs, it seems to me seiko design these days tends to err towards excess...i see the flowing curves of english sports cars from the sixties within'these watches, lotus and especially jaguar xke...

Nicely done Pete. Although I like the case design as is, there is something said for cleaner smooth lines and your analogy to 60's British sports cars is right on.

I think they wanted to say 'is that another new watch' but refrained. I just said yes, it was 14 years ago but it's just an old one now

Although I like the case design as is, there is something said for cleaner smooth lines and your analogy to 60's British sports cars is right on. i always see seiko and general motors as running parallel design-wise...seiko used to put out a lot of camaros and corvettes, now it seems like they're doing buicks and oldsmobiles. but there's often an aerodynamic cushion hiding within russ, if you ever way me to streamline a case for you, send it to me and i'll do it for free. it's relaxing work, but lord knows i have enough watches
