Took me a week to get comfortable wearing her outside the house Bet you had fun using that spring bar tool. A little anal puckering I assume? π

That strap looks great on that and I have to admit, it'll be tough to resist following your lead once again

That strap looks great on that and I have to admit, it'll be tough to resist following your lead once again Imitating is the highest form of flattery. I highly recommend it. I like it much better than the other one we have as far as fit. Much easier to put on and take off. Quality leather and stitching. Nice grain pattern. Perfect thickness. It comes with quick release spring bars which I gently took out and replaced with my own. Best price was from a seller on eBay from Germany with free shipping. I have the black one with red lining for my UFO. Itβs a Hirsch RALLY Natural Leather Racing Watch Strap.

SKX779 arrived while I was working out of town. It is in really good condition, except for the pip. Will fix that when I get some better quality lume powder.

i've worn all my watches at least once this month ( i'm keeping a list, and checking it twice,) except for this one, my "dress" watch, in an era when we hardly ever even bother to get dressed, let alone "dressed up". yup, i was crazy enough to bead blast it, and i'm glad that i did. now if only i could put a rotating bezel on it....

Cool mod to the case! I was thinking the same thing about my higher end dress watches. I haven't been out for dinner, an event, the office, etc... where I would wear my fancy watches. So I keep them in a group and look at them On the other hand, my G-Shocks have taken center stage and even reawakened my love affair with purchasing rarer older models from years ago and a few newer higher end models. My next project is creating a nice display for them.
