This piece popped up for sale recently - I didn't buy it, but I watched with some interest. I've never seen one of these come up for sale. This is a very uncommon 150m diver with the high-end 39 jewel rotary jet movement on board. The 39 jewel "divers" (not really divers) pop up regularly, but they are the bezel-less "non-professional" models. This went for a good sum, with probably Y284K of the Y285K total directed to the watch described. There was no pic of the movement (one-piece case and tricky to open), but it would look like this (from the net somewhere);

Just blown away by the price tag / collectability, especially given the condition. Happy to learn of another highly sought after reference.

So another one sell not too long ago on yh. Can't figure out why they would use brass metal for the crown.

Also the case backs on some related models have seemingly disintegrated. There seems to be a point when there was a switch over to SS.

Thanks for the post as I cannot understand the price for this watch and the condition. Not easy to find replacement part either.
