Hi! I've been lurking for the last few days, reading some of the posts, and have really enjoyed what I've found. Seikoholic suggested for me to come here.
Bit about me: I farm a couple thousand acres, and in my off time I cook a lot and look at watches *a lot*. I'm new into the world of watches, my first watch being a Seiko 5 SNK809 a year ago. Since that time, I've expanded my 'collection' to six pieces; the latest being a Seiko White Helmet (which needs servicing).

.gifaboard. I lived in Waterloo for ten years; where do you hale from? About 15 minutes West of Port Dover! Cool; I passed through that area many time. I thoroughly enjoyed all of my times in southern Ontario and I do miss having evidence of four seasons. Here in the Pacific Northwet we only really experience two wet seasons. Fortunately, global warming provided us with one of the absolute best summers I can remember! The season I don't miss from southern Ontario in Waterloo is the 7 month winter. Hopefully global warming has made it a little shorter and less boring

Belated welcome Dan. I'm from London, ON but now live in Calgary. You're near Port Dover, eh? Ah, memories of the perch & celery bread at the Erie Beach Hotel....How were the crops this year?
