So BERTUCCI brand popped up on one of the pages while surfing, and though well might make a nice grab and go. Then I saw its 50m water resist rating, and thought maybe that could be improved by doing one of those oil filled mods, that was sort of popular several years ago. I know there was a thread where the OP had a Bulova Oil filled. Photos are gone and I didn't see anything else here on WS about oil filled.
Anyone else have an oil filled Quartz analog? There are a bunch Of Casio's out there I saw elsewhere, some going as deep as 984.5m! And that was a Casio F91 and he used Olive Oil not even Gucci Silicone or other Hydraulic oils...

I filled a watch with oil to see what would happen. A very fine oil used in instruments. It worked great for a while.... a short while. Then it went all quiet and has been like that forever more. It did look funky with the dial being able to be viewed at extreme angles. Very clear too. Total bollock ache to do. This is when I decided not to watch so much YouTube.

I’m pretty sure the thread you’re referring to Todd was by anzac1957 where he had an oil-filled Bulova 96B230 UHF. I remember it as I’ve got the same watch (but definitely not oil-filled).
