Noticed something green on the inside of my Seiko 9923 ! Hadn't dared to open it before, but now I got enough experinence so I did it. Luckily it simply wiped away. Also noticed that glass had some funny haze inside and the reflecting inner ring was all dirty. Wiped all clean and put it back together. Looks even better now! Please, some one, guide me to a proper snap back case opener. This thing was a pain ( I blame the rust in between!). Took a rarely seen inside photo. Enjoy!

6105-8000 purchased from the original owner whose wife was gracious enough to send me a couple original photos of him wearing the watch. I included one. He’s the guy with the German Shepard on the left with his buddy dangerously fooling with him! You can see the Seiko on his right wrist grasping his weapon. He was a Sergeant in the United States Airforce as a K-9 Dog Handler stationed in Korat, Thailand from 1969 to 1970. He purchased the watch in country and its manufacturing date is from July 1968. It was expertly restored by WS member Guy. I have it on an Uncle Seiko tire tread strap which molds perfectly to my wrist.

Yep, know that site, it’s got the good shit! Strangely I don’t sail, don’t live near the sea, can hardly swim... but I do love a yacht timer!
