************* ALL GONE. *************
Hi everyone I am WAY OVERDUE to make this post so forgive me Ben for my slow posting about your revolutionary new way to get your old crystals back into service.
Member crystalclear is none other than Ben Levy the master restorer of many things glass but here we are discussing his ability to return old mineral glass watch crystals to very nice condition. As Ben says, they come out at least 95% restored but I can proudly state in the case of my 6139-6000 early Pogue CRC (Chrome Rimmed Crystal) it went from lightly worn for all the years to absolutely perfect. So it's a matter in part of just how far gone the original was. They can be perfect when he's done with the polishing process, I am here to testify to that !
Ben and I were exchanging ideas and he had me send him a dozen old worn and unsightly Pouge 330W18GN00 crystals (no CRC's!!) to Ben so he could work his magic. He returned them to me and all are very nice ! The best part is the are all very appealing being bright and shiny and optically clear with no sign of overwork in any area that would in turn lead to low spots, which other crystal restorers have suffered from. Great work for sure. Surely some have something you can find if you look hard while others do not. Some are domed, some are "flat" (not really flat just not domed so that's how they are described). Ben and I want to entice you guys to see his handiwork at a price to entice. I will sell up 12 of these Pogue crystals to anyone who is interested, no limit on how many per buyer. The WristSushi Special Price is $25 each plus actual cost to ship from USA.
No need for you to have one in need of a polish and no need for your cost to post it to Australia. Just $25 each and one shipping charge at my cost USPS First Class (or First Class International if you are outside the USA). Here they are, all laid out, as you can see these will brighten up your Pogue and you'll know it is sporting a clean, bright, OEM vintage 330W18GN crystal with no concern for the aftermarket considerations. PM me if you'd like to see what this is all about.

Nice service! I've got a bucket load of crystals I am now glad I didn't throw away! I've done this myself and it's a horrible job. Messy. $25 is a bargain just for not swallowing 12 gallons of glass rouge!
Good luck

Amazing service and very reasonable. I for one have always wondered if it was economically viable to restore these crystals and return them to service, I wonder no more!
Thanks Ben and Hibeat.

I received my domed crystal today for my 6139-6000 JDM SpeedTimer from 1969 and would like to offer my preliminary views. First, it’s important to note what original crystals look like that we wind up replacing. They’re usually deeply scratched, sometimes frosted over and rather abused looking. So I was very impressed with what I received. All the scratches are gone. It is optically clear with no haze. There are no imperfections that you can feel with a fingernail. There are some superficial pin size “holes” and a couple “wisps” on the crystal visible in a “see through” setting, in direct sunlight, up close and not on the watch, so keep that in mind. Also there are some very small chips on the edges but not at all egregious, not unexpected and I’m sure impossible to repair. All the crystals are obviously different, organic, and thus yield varying results. The pictures you see have been blown up so keep that in mind too. Viewing at a normal distance, on the wrist, and most importantly on the watch will show off a fantastic result. Given how I’m sure it must have originally looked, I’m impressed, satisfied, and would have my crystals restored in the future. It maintains the original integrity of the watch and helps the value since it’s not a reproduction replacement. Hope this helps and look forward to other reviews.

Great stuff Ben! Got mine day before yesterday. Surpassed expectations. I've put the 3 crystals next to one that I did not send, easy to guess which one did not get to fly to Australia. Rob

Just found this nice article showcasing Ben Levy and his crystal polishing magic.
The cat is out of the bag. I hope Ben can turn this into a well known service that really returns old crystals to restored watches.
