The first Seiko diver i bought as a vintage. 6105-8000 And I've been told that my bike is also a vintage model. Here it is with its tired owner, weekend before last.

Finally managed to wrench the SARX081 off my wrist. Thought I’d give this one an airing today.

This was part of a bunch I bought recently and a bit of a sorry non runner when it arrived. I only went for this as I’d not seen an 0853 before. Enjoyed the restore despite it being a fiddly little movement to work on. And I believe the dial would be silver under that almost perfect tropical tanning. I’ll do a small restoration thread if I get time. Won’t be in Don’s league as he A) takes better pics than me and B) always seems to remember to take pics whereas I forget half the time! 0853-8000 from June 1975.
