Hi, My vintage Grand Seiko 4420 lacks the movement holder ring, so the movement "rattles" in the case when I wear it. Any suggestions on either finding a spare one or a replacement that is "good enough" to remedy the situation? The photo below is a reference of what the movement ring looks like, not my actual watch.

Is it a thin brass ring with 4 tabs that sits into a slot in the steel ring below.

You can buy a variety of plastic movement rings on ebay - see what fits, and modify if necessary. Without a donor watch, this would be the cheapest option, if crude.

Thanks, will do, my goal is to be able to use it! The current rattling makes me think I'm damaging it while wearing it. Actually, now I really feel the need for a small 3D printer.... ;-) You can buy a variety of plastic movement rings on ebay - see what fits, and modify if necessary. Cousins sell generic plastic movement rings. I'd go that way, just measure it and work out what you need.
I can't get them lasercut as they aren't a flat part.
