Hi, I'm Bruce from Canada. I have been into Orients since the 1970s. I just discovered this site.

Welcome to the forum, Bruce. My first watch memory is an Orient one, my dad had an Orient he picked up at one of the Expo's inJapan inthe early 70's (late 60's?), It was my first time handling a watch as he wanted me to feel the auto movement "swimming" inside. I remember the logo, the three stars, the slightly off white dial. Everything I've seen makes me think it was a swimmer, but I don't recall the extra button or the day complication. Anyhow, again, welcome!

Welcome Bruce. I've never owned an Orient, but they seem like a solid and good value brand. They have some great vintage divers if you go looking.

Welcome Bruce! I’ve got a few Orient watches, mainly newer stuff. I stay clear of the vintage pieces as getting parts is nigh on impossible. Great value for money watches IMHO.
