I could throw throw a crowbar in your data and suggest that the serial number needs further investigation. Do we know if that is the sequential number for that model specifically or just stamped on there as a number in the production of whatever they made for the month across all models? If that makes sense.

Thanks Adrian, I’ve wavered between the assuming that all numbers are represented as 62MAS serials, and assuming that they are from a reduced population. In fact I argued strongly toward the latter in my earlier post - I should have referred to that. I might pull the part of the update that refers to production numbers, as I rely on the other populations to do those estimates, and I still need to finish that section.

Have you spoken to Herman from the other forum? He did serial no. data for years and might have some insights.
