Before I had the chance to experience it first hand, whenever I saw comments about real life accuracy performance of SD I was rolling my eyes … now I am convinced

And out of curiosity, how lost was that Salmon you're preparing that I would expect you speared yourself in Hawaii

Before I had the chance to experience it first hand, whenever I saw comments about real life accuracy performance of SD I was rolling my eyes … now I am convinced I had to go read about this movement earlier today regarding a parallel discussion going on at the moment here at WS as I was completely ignorant of it's design. What a cool movement! It actually uses electronic braking to govern the spring power delivered by the movement. That's pretty ingenious in my opinion.
Fergus - perhaps your ABS sensor might be fitted in a pinch on Razvanjbl's spring drive to provide the ABS functionality it uses?

Re-dialed SRP777 Great to see you around! I think I mentioned this before, but in case I haven't, that's a mod I've contemplated for a long time, but never got around to putting together. It looks great! I like a little pop of color on watch dials (the orange-red "DIVER"S 200m"), and I'm not a huge fan of the Prospex "X", so this is perfect! I wore my sort-of "beater" SRP777 today.
