Fresh from my stint in the Fathers/Sons (Fathers Day) choir at my eldest son's school, here's the 3rd of my Citizen Solar Cell pieces! And, a big thanks to camrok , who very kindly sent over an original manual for the Citizen Solar watches, plus a Crystron diver movement and dial.

Second day in a row of a 6106-8510 case, modified, this one with a Noah Fuller hand-made dial ( thanks axb!) In my mind, not a rip-off of Omega, but a love letter, albeit a sterile one

Old stuff is the best stuff π
She needs cleaning and gasket parts desperately, but I needed a mood lift so a battery and some fiddling brought me great joy
My Casio CFX-200 (Module 197) of January 1985 which I've even rebuilt buttons for to keep her going. Worn exclusively from 2004 to 2012 and only removed from service for a greater cause.
I have to move the calendar year back 10+ years to a like day of the week year as she didn't think she'd make it to 2021, and only knows calendars to 2010.
Nice to see you again!

This watch brings me great joy, every time I strap it on. The dial has texture, the case is both modern and vintage and it has a great back story. Thanks tritto for sharing it with me!
