New project, a cool TUNA Diver, the crown is at 4,20 and the dial I choosed has correct feet. The movement will be a NH35.

So if the case is a true 4 o'clock case, and that is a genuine OEM dial for a 4R or 6R movement, I do not expect the dial feet will line up with an OEM NH35 or 4R35 movement or the 6R15/6R35/NH15, etc.
But the photo being a bit off square still looks like it's a "4:21" case in which case you are golden.

BTW I just did a mod where the case was a true 4 o'clock aftermarket 6105 homage so instead of fighting the whole NH/4R/6R/7S fight or finding date wheel overlays or an Asian clone date wheel and the then cutting the dial feet anyway, I used a vintage 6309 movement. Drops in a treat. A bit of tinkering with the 6309 stem into the AM crown, and a bit of movement ring modding to get that tight fit. I used a modern New Willard 6R35 dial that the previous owner had cut off the dial feet (gee, I wonder why.... )

How did you get the stem and crown to interface? I'm at a similar point with a bronze 6105 case and 6309 movement. Can't risk trashing the crown because it can't be replaced. Not sure there is enough distance to use a stem adapter. I have enough 6309 stems sitting around to sacrifice those.
What did you use for a movement ring? 6309 came from a dress watch and didn't have a Diver steel spacer and spring.
As best I can tell the stem height is dead on in the case.

Yes the stem height matches the NH3X etc so that is the key to a good start.
For the stem arrangement, I took a brand new NOS uncut 6309 stem (PM me if you need one for free) and I extracted the factory stem from the homage crown, they were the same tap so that was easy, and I cut to fit.
For the movement ring, time to be an artist and get creative. I ended up with a spare movement ring from who knows what in my spares bag, then I cut it to allow more space in the crown tube cutout area, then I bent it to be more horseshoe and less perfect circle, then I jammed it there good and hard, and that was that. You can also try grabbing a large "T" style crystal, pull the tension ring, invert it so the angle is facing the dial side, and jam that in - that has worked in the past, too.
Good luck ! I always wanted a bronze 6105 homage with a true 4 oclock dial, that's a future project after the 325 other projects in my queue are all complete
For those still on TOF, here is my project it came out really nicely !

The stem from the 6309 and the NH stem in the crown are different taps. .1mm difference and different thread pitch. The NH stem should be tap 10 but it measures as tap 11.
I need to spend some quality time on this and map it out.

Oddly for my mod it just screwed right in tap wise. Maybe the cheap Asian clone manufacturer made his own stems?

I need to grab a different 6309 stem. It might have an extender/adapter on it. Turns out it is a 4:20 case. Not too much of a problem because the dial feet are broken off the dial I like. It sounded like the movement was loose in the case but it was the loose rotor making the noise. I don't think I need to do anything for a spacer. The movement needs a service as it is pretty dead now. Probably a dial foot jamming it up.

gibsg, I'm doing something similar with my Sharkey Tuna. Except it involves an incoming titanium case. Easy way is to swap movement into new case but I had to muddy the water and order a few colorful dials too. I'm going to weigh old set up and new setup. Should be interesting.

You might recall my thread about the titanium SKX007, 20 grams saving in the top case alone, overall 41 grams total savings with some effort to minimize: HiBeat's SKX007 Titanium Case Project
