Hi, I joined in September but only got around to saying hello now! I grew up around Citizens and Seikos and now 30-odd years later am getting into watch repairs. Been at it for almost 2 years and have worked on a few interesting projects but obviously I've still got a long way to go in terms of learning. Cheers, Richard.

Welcome Richard! You’ve found the best place on the web if you’re a watch nut, plenty of knowledge on here that’s readily shared. Don’t be shy, show us what you’ve got and what you’re working on. I love Melbourne, been a couple of times to visit our good friends in Boronia. It’s a fair trek from the UK about well worth it!

Hey thanks for the welcome And glad to hear you've enjoyed your visits to Melbourne. There are lots of nice areas here although the attractions are more subtle compared to other Australian cities (for better or for worse).
Doesn't look like I can copy images directly to the post so I'll have to work out where best to host them before I can share my projects. I'm currently working on a 6319-6000 that's proving to be a good challenge for my skills and parts hunting ability.

Hi Richard Andy out in Lilydale. Just taken up watch destruction. Still learning how to put them back together again. Have you found a way to buy watches off eBay without getting bombarded by sales from India. It’s driving me nuts. Regards Andy
