Are there no numbers on the case back? You should have an 8 digit number XXXX-XXXX that defines the movement and case numbers.

Early high-end quartz, early/mid 70s, probably a 3803 or 4633

Thanks. Sometimes the pictures are not good enough for me to identify the watch. I have gathered some reference material and some web sites with info. Kind of liked the color and it is suppose to be original bracelet and working.

Kind of liked the color and it is suppose to be original bracelet and working. Take all of that with a grain of salt. The whole watch is covered with rust spots from being left out in the rain. Add to that the missing battery hatch and I'm betting this one is not only not working but will never be salvageable

White lume tells us a lot - no water intrusion. Looks dirty externally, but the white lume tells us the interior should be OK. These early quartz movements are really robust, they put up with a lot and still keep going. Later quartz watches are like lightbulbs - they go, and they're gone. These early ones were meant to be maintained. I think of the dozen or so I've had over the years only a couple were irretrievably dead.

Well He is asking for $40.00 plus a service and cleaning. Walk away...I just realized the battery is being held in with scotch tape! The crystal is faceted and will cost more than the watch to replace...if Jonathan Koch can find one. You can find another one of these in perfect working order, rust free and with all the parts for that amount of money or less :-)

Well He is asking for $40.00 plus a service and cleaning. High, they're not worth anything near that currently. If you ever wanted to start a collection on the cheap, start looking for Seiko 4004's on eBay. Lunch money currently. As Pete said, the faceted crystal will cost you that much easily, if not more, IF it can be found.
