My neighbours son has been collecting watches for about a year now and this is his first "diver" watch. He paid $5 for it at a junk sale, then I helped him strip, clean, and put a new battery in, He's done all the work and so far has $9.95 invested in a nice looking watch. Two questions, one, the second hand strikes between the indices, not being familiar with these ETA quartz movements, can this be rectified without removing the hand and reseting it? Second question, he's not sure of what sort of strap he wants, I've told him to search the web for 18mm straps and he's now totally confused laughing1.gif These are what i suggested, what do you think or suggest? The watch, nice isn't it...for $5!

Can't help with the straps; that's a personal thing.
The seconds hand will have to be removed to reset it. These models are not 'fly-by-wire' so everything is directly mechanically driven.

Nice. I'd go with a buncha natos. He can match to his kicks.
