Hello all WIS, I bought a Seiko 7548-700c off of eBay that looked In great shape, but the seller claimed the Watch had something wrong with the crown? Could not fully screw the crown down. He did not wear the Watch much and wrote never around water, because of the crown issues. I bought the watch hoping it was an easy fix. It was in as nice condition as the pictures advertised. Wanted to have my Watchmaker look at this but 3 hours each way just never got around to doing so. A couple of weeks ago, I discovered how easy it was to pull out and change the stem and crown on this model. I tried the different crown and stem, and it was a little better but still could tell I had problems with the stem tube threads. I do have a good 7548 case I could move the 700c internals to a new good condition case? But my thoughts are using a good ‘82 6309 case, and creating a Orange dial ‘80s Kanji day wheel 6309 Quartz Turtle. Thoughts or ideas please? Not having any luck posting pictures? Even adjusted file size to half of the maximum 1mb? No url my pictures on iPad? Add Attachment did not work? Vance.

If you post your pictures in imgur and then use the BBCode link from there copied in to the body of your post, that is the way most people do it around here.
