Wow that is super sharp SeikoSoMatic ! Is that a Seiko signed bracelet too? Yep. Not sure yet if it was OEM to this model, gonna have to check. Might need an extender. We'll see in a few days. I keep telling myself "I don't need any more watches" and then something like this pops up. π

Quick and dirty photo of some new arrivals. Hoping to get them tidied up at some point. Also, have ordered a light tent as the photo below when compared to the excellent one above really doesn't do the watches justice. Will take better photos in future π€ͺπ

Just noticed that the 8305 I posted above is back from service. Post service photos below, will get it back on a bracelet and try the new tent out when it arrives!

Beautiful SeikoSoMatic, it looks like a proper time machine just back from the past! The hands look very similar to those on the 5717-8990 Mono Pusher I have on today!

Hey Dan, that silver weekdater on the right is on my most wanted list! I think the dial layout is the most beautifully designed Seiko ever made. The day at 6 oclock is so appealing. One day hopefully......

inscription - I have to agree, I love day windows at 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock. Perhaps as they are more unique? Then we have the vertical layout day/date and those are favorites of mine too!

Fantastic post - lovely watches! As mentioned earlier - here is a more unusual Seikomatic, the 1961 Blue Yacht:

6206-8990 This is the 3rd of this time I ever have seen (including mine), these versions with the luminious hands and chapterring are rare!
