Can't say I've ever heard of it, do they use standard Orient movements?

Good question. I couldn't pin down who makes their movements. I have noticed many Japanese-sourced ebayers seem to carry the brand, but that may not indicate movement source. Anyone else have any definitive info on the brand?
While researching, I came across this unrelated listing of top ten Japanese watches from askmen.com. (Subject to opinion.)

www.askmen.com/top_10/entertainment/top-10-japanese-watches.html Subject to opinion is an understatement. The #2 slot is an OM, the entire G range is #1 and there's no Grand Seiko at all? WTF? These lists are utter bullshitte.

Questionable at best.

Questionable at best. My guess is that price is the factor at work here. A Grand Seiko is way out of my price range so I really can't say with any authority that they are great watches. I'm sure they are but I can't say so based on experience. If you look at the list, most of the watches are lower priced models so I think that tends to support my theory.

If it does, they should have specified that in their article.

Their definition is a bit nebulous: "Here is a list of the 10 best, most popular and praiseworthy collections or pieces that you can get today." Best and most popular can easily be at odds. I'd take a Spring Drive or Marine Master over a Monster any day but there are lots of us out here that just can't afford those beauties.
