If only Orient would stop putting that stupid date changer button on their watches.
Seriously.
Does Orient think you that every other week only has 6 days in it that you have to constantly change the date?
There are like what, 4 short months in the year?
At least Pulsar finally stopped putting the power reserve indicator track and pusher on their kinetic watches a few years ago (don't ask me how you tell the reserve then but if it's running who cares)
If you have ADD / ADHD (both fake made up diseases that a good ass whopping will cure) or OCD and feel the need to constantly play with your watch buy a damn chronograph.
If you think shaking your kinetic watch until it reaches the next power level is a game buy a damn pac man watch from the 1980's.

Er. actually five. But you're right, WTH needs a button to change the date?

The button is for the day.
Mechanicals need to be reset often. At least mine do.

That feature is really odd. I hv one and if it were a daily wearer... no problem, real easy to keep correct, but consider this, my old Rolex is not a quick day change so if the watch was in a drawer and stopped, I can wait to wear it again until the correct date or turn the crown until I catch the proper date. Say the watch was on date three and I wanted to wear it on Dec 1, well, that would be a lot of crown turning forward. But I can turn it in reverse, whatever is easier. Now, that Mako has the name of the day of the week, I say, if one does not know what day it is, one has dementia, one is just married and on honeymoon or with a real bad hangover. The Mako is a 200 m wach, that little thingamajig just gives more opportunity for water to get in.

To make things even more annoying the day pusher has a screw down collar. A minor thing I know, but as much as I liked the mako, this sunk it for me. I much prefer this model CER1A002D. Don't see it much anymore, but I still have mine.
