This one came in from Japan looking pretty spiffy except there was a “cloud” on the crystal. I decided to tear it apart and give everything a good cleaning. Touched up some scratches too. The cloud on the crystal appeared to be an AR coating that had discolored so I stripped it with IPA. Adjusted the rate to nearly zero as well.

Switched to the trusty beater for pulling weeds in m’ lady’s garden. California rains bring massive freaking weeds. They’ll be back in the Spring no doubt.

Got this one from Japan the other day, can't seem to take it off and shouted my wife a seafood lunch to celebrate her retirement.

Is that an American Lobster, or is there a similar species in Oz? Congratulations on your wife's retirement! It's an Australian lobster, they are World wide species. We do have a local version with a different shape called Moreton Bay Bugs, but this is your run of the mill Lobster.
