Freshly serviced 7005-8030 from December 1969 which arrived this week. I suspect this had never been serviced as the movement looked untouched and all lubricants had dried entirely. Runs like a top after the full spa treatment though! I’ve seen these described as the ‘civilian’ MACV-SOG which, to me, sounds like a contradiction in terms. Sure, it’s the same case - but a totally different dial devoid of any lume. Using the MACV-SOG link in such a tenuous way seems more like a ploy to drive up the selling price which, you won’t be surprised to learn given it was me who bought it, wasn’t the case with this one.

Wow appumaster , thanks for sharing that with us! What a sight to behold! Citizen ACSS-2932Y for me today ...meanwhile the GPS survey continues. The antenna is blocked to the North by the roof line and a thicket of very tall pine trees

Out for a hike. It's his birthday!
When you find a bunch of daffodils like this in the forest, it's a sign that an old homestead used to be there. This time of year there are patches of these all throughout the woods, especially near the river.

1 day weekend
Same as every week
Week after week
It's been unseasonably mild this winter and above freezing for a bit so I had to pull some of my plants out of the fridge from dormancy and put them outside in the shade to acclimate.

appumaster, I love the family pic the most. victor, you need to get a shot of those pups with an Aussie Pogue! This watch was my weekend project. I already had one like it but picked up one in really rough condition because I wanted to see if I could transform it into a decent wear. Please excuse the espresso martini.

I will not excuse the espresso martini - where's mine?!? Did you bring enough for everyone? I've never had one, though it looks delicious.
I would gladly pose my boys with an Aussie Pogue, except I don't have a Pogue, Aussie or otherwise. Now I've got something else to add to the list - you people are a bad influence!
