...wrong bezel insert (the faded one is only sitting on top), wrong hands, broken second hand and as already said a non-runner but somehow I'm still optimistic.... ;-)

is that the genuine article? based on my observations and based on the knowledge of someone who knows his Seikos and Scubapros, I'm pretty sure this one is the real deal. Of course everyone is invited to share his thoughts or doubts... The dial code is correct, the font seems to be correct (I spent hours of comparing other dials with this one), the beveled date window is present, the kanji day wheel is present, the 12 o'clock marker is correct, according to its serial number it was produced in 1979 and the 6306 movement is present. The hands are wrong but I got the original ones as well and they still look pretty nice...

thanks. I found it at my local auction site and i guess I was just lucky...
As I said it requires work and spare parts but I think and hope that it will be worth it.
