Still have Dad's old 6139 on. This thing runs like a charm after some help and TLC by Sean and Spencer! Everything is original except the crown, crystal and gaskets. I really should seriously consider having Spencer do a re-lume.

Nice! Where'd you get that? A guy sent it in to have me convert it to mechanical, and it can't really be done. The 7549 hands, cannon pinion, and hour wheel aren't swappable AFAIK. Also, doing that to this watch would be a hard thing for me to do. So I offered a trade for another watch, and he went for it. Now it's mine!

You found one! Looks great! Thanks! It's really what I wanted. I'm a huge fan of the 754x movements, and this watch model in particular. It's the classic tuna, next to the Golden (which I also have). The JDM version is nicer to my eyes because of the more balance dial text (and the daywheel of course). I previously had the SQ version that had jacked up hands. This one is really nice. I'm very happy.

I kind of can't believe it's mine. Amazed he went for the deal. I'm having to work for it - the movement is dirty, so I had to pull it completely apart. It's waiting for the ultrasonic to heat up as I write this.
