You won that one? Nice!
There have been some great dress watch lots going off recently.
I went too cheap on one yesterday that had a dress 6105 in it.

Seiko Tin Plating?
I could find no STP in the official Seiko case back abbreviations.

It's plated brass. Some of them still look okay, but on others there is a lot of plating loss and brass corrosion. I was looking through some of my Sportsmatics to find a watch with an STP case, and happened to find the 1967 TWIN of your watch!

Hopefully the case isn't in too bad of shape, not sure I have any room for a beater dress watch...lol

Lucky you - GREAT catch. I can't tell if this is a 6602-, but I simply love mine.
A little Polywatch and the usual treatment and you probably have a new favorite for at least a week.
Congrats!

STP…..Stainless Top Plated from memory, referring to the case being chrome plated.
I've been trying to find the Seiko doc that i have that covers the case finishes, when i do I'll post it.

It's a Sportsman and is a hand winder and it has a date. That makes it a 6602. I have a black dial version... And a white dial version... neither of these is a Sea Horse though.
