What is the difference between a 7A28 7040 and a 7A28 7049?

I think . . . . but I'm not 100% sure that the 7049 is a "Sports" 100M WR version. Here's a pic of my 7049:

I believe that the last digit mostly pertains to geographic distribution. There may be a difference in dial text but I've never thought about it. Here's my -7049
