I like that one.
Worse comes to worse you can drop a 6309 or 6306 in there. Direct swap.

Nothing incoming but finally found a NOS 6309 diver stem to come in to finish off my way over budget MOD project.
The damn bezel insert for the project costs twice as much as the donor watch that started it all.
No more watches for me as they all turn out over budget.
I find a nice 7S26 Flieger and a dial and hands and strap and before you know it your $50 watch is a $175 in to it watch.

My first Seikomatic mid-60's dress watch. It arrived at my post office box but I can't get it due to the snow.

Couldn't take the waiting for my 6215, so the big bad is on the way: I liked the pioneering tech by Seiko in the first GPS Astrons, but the designs left me cold. These 2014 designs kill it, though - 10 hours to polish that house-fabricated sapphire crystal. The sapphire-down-to-the-lugs reminds me of the Ressence Type 3: ... which is a cool conversation piece, but it's 23,000 EURO and it's hard to read. I definitely didn't expect to buy a quartz watch this year, but Seiko keeps surprising.

Big weekend. Wife is out of town, so I'm in 'ask forgiveness' mode, which is a lot better than 'ask permission'! Unexpected pickup, this original owner '70 Proof/Proof hacking 6105-8000 on original waffle: No bargain, but seller was a G.I who listed it along with the his U.S. Divers/Aqualung tanks and other vintage dive gear, which proved to be more attractive than I was able to resist. Excited to try the original waffle. Scratch that, excited full stop.

Ooh, those look like great pickups. (Sent from my mobile, please pardon my spelling) I've gotten to the point that I pretty much only am buying divers.
