I'm about to pull the trigger on a Super Engineer II from Strapcode. Any recommendations on which clasp I should get?
Thanks,
Jack

All of my instincts say stick with a standard dive clasp.

Interesting. My instincts tell me the same, but I have zero intuition as to why. You have any ideas why?

Interesting. My instincts tell me the same, but I have zero intuition as to why. You have any ideas why? In general I'm not a fan of deployant clasps on leather. While it looks nice on metal I suspect that it will be a pita to size properly so that it sits dead center and they are awkward to put on. The seatbelt clasp looks like it would be too large and clunky, would be a noticeable impediment to comfortable typing (a roll that defines my divers more than any water based activity ) and it also looks like an accidental release waiting to happen. In the end I always have the best success with a standard diver's clasp for comfort and reliability. Actually in the end I usually wind up on a good rubber or PU dive strap. I've got hundreds investing in heavy aftermarket bracelets for my divers that just don't get worn.

I'd love to give you an opinion, but have no idea what the options are.

Thanks Saul, I guess I go with the standard. Great looking bracelet, I really like it....just not sure what I'd put it on.

Thanks for the assist Saul. I didn't have time to post the links yesterday.
Anyhow, I'm most likely going to get the bracelett with dive clasp for a Sumo.
Thanks for your thoughts fellas.
