Came across this while reading up on my object of desire (6159-700x divers) sometime last month ... s12.photobucket.com/user/harryoboy/library/SBDX?sort=3&page=1(once you go to a particular image, make sure you right-click and open image in new tab to see full res photos) The historical edition 300m 8L35 MM300 is no slouch, but the older one easily has *much* better aesthetics. I want to add the older 6159 to my collection some day ... I will happily give up all of my existing watches (except a quartz 7548) for this one. Who here owns an example of this beautiful 6159?

The 6159 is a technically superior watch, but I prefer the original 300m diver, the 6215:

That 6215 is gorgeous! They are so rare to come by. Enjoy yours, and take good care of it!

No, here's some true watch porn I have this ad by the way because the nice lady is wearing a Synchronar LED sunwatch. A rare and expensive piece. I own one.

Cool watch! Looks like it was the inspiration for the $63,000 MB&F HM5:

Cool watch! Looks like it was the inspiration for the $63,000 MB&F HM5: wow damn that's a cool watch. The Synchronar is a really odd and unusual watch, invented by a guy named Riehl in the early 70s. He wanted a fully enclosed, waterproof quartz LED watch. The steel case holds an entirely sealed solar-powered movement. The circuits were all-hand made, and any repairs or adjustments had to be made by the company. The company existed all the way up to the 2006 or so timeframe.
