You should also get this today Spencer: I'll repair that minute hand, FYI. That will be GREATLY appreciated. Now I know not to reset it unless the second hand is past the minute & hour hands. If I had any self control, I'd just let it run but I love pushing buttons! Thank you VERY much!

I will be might p*ssed off if this isn't delivered tomorrow. Spent ages trying to pay the ridiculous customs/RM charge online, only to have "Page not found" appearing when I'd put in my card details. Tried again, thinking I'd maybe made a mistake. No joy. Tried a different card, twice, no joy. Phoned RM. "If you want to wait in a f*cking queue for half an hour deciding which options you want to choose, please press 1." I'm not kidding, there were 3 options, then another three options, then a further three options before I got to the card details. Then I accidentally pressed the star key instead of the hash key and had to go back to the beginning . I think it all went in as a customer came in and spoke to me just as I'd finished and didn't hear what the annoying automated voice said. But the line went dead so I assume it went through.

Well, mine arrived safely, and appears to be in stellar condition. I'll get better pics, and start a thread tomorrow.

This was the only watch that arrived today. September '78, Suwa 6309-7040. It was someone's trusty buddy, and they used it and paid to have it worked on. Seiko COSERV stamp inside the caseback, and it runs like a dream with the aid of an 18th jewel for the center wheel in the train bridge. The genuine Seiko crystal is unmarked and can't be original to the watch. Hands are original but show that they've been taken off and put back on again, more than once. But the seals were as hard as plastic, and there was rust inside the crown (surface, but odd) plus a little bit of pitting under the caseback. Dial is really special and this shot doesn't do it justice.

Very nice pickups, gentlemen!
I had a special arrival yesterday .. the rare transitional 7548-7010 200m diver with the screw in crystal retaining ring. After a minor scare, it's working as it should! I'll post some photos here soon.
Spencer, did you get my 8F35 diver yet?
(Sent from my mobile, please pardon my spelling)

This showed up today. It's a 5126-8010 from June, 1968. Bought it because it is a rarely-seen Seiko 5, ran great, and came on it's original bracelet. Unfortunately, it came with a stem that had been GLUED together at some point in the past. It fell apart when I tried to remove it. I have a replacement stem, crown, crystal, and caseback gasket coming from Borel.
