Buyers on Ebay make no sense.

There's one as a BIN that's MUCH nicer than that, like near NOS based on the insert and dial, and it's $50 cheaper.

And then you have jackass sellers like 8868hwh - cheating lying faker. He's sold this watch like four times now. Why do people keep buying from him?

If you try to attach logic to what goes on with Ebay...you'll drive yourself crazy.
I believe it's all about timing and opportunity...not to mention buyer's anxiety.

I was watching the first one, after it sold I had to go back to the photos thinking that maybe it was a 6306, I was definitely scratching my noggin and expecting some foul play.

I've seen that one pop up often. And it sells every time. And gets relisted. And the guy has generally good feedback. The one time I bought from him I got a pretty solid deal (just over $100) for what looked like a nice original 6309. He "lost" it, and therefore asked to cancel the sale. It was subsequently relisted.

Now why would he do that?

I had this one saved on my watch list, and also couldn't believe it's selling price. Almost made the same post here.
Dunno, maybe someone (or 2 someones) had to have it because of the date?
