when are you doing the clean-up?
Worst I ever saw was a guy who had a 6138-0011 he'd bought in the Navy. He'd worn it while greasing cables aboard his ship. It was unspeakable. I eventually had to soak the case and bracelet in straight gasoline to get the crap out.

The 30 minute hand has come off and should still be somewhere in the case.

Great find! Mine says hello!
Watches can't talk... Mine do. Some of the best conversations I've ever had are with them. Some of the biggest trouble I've ever gotten into is from things they tell me to do.

That is all kinds of awesome. Nothing like a good single owner vintage Seiko!

Watches can't talk... So, why am I always hearing voices in my mind telling me what watch to put on? ?

That is all kinds of awesome. Nothing like a good single owner vintage Seiko! Yep. This is EXACTLY the way I like to find them. Bought in '74, worn until '77, taken off, thrown in a drawer for 30+ years. No cleaning done. No polishing done. No hack "fixes". No incorrect parts. Ahhhhhh....
