I'm kinda enjoying this combination. "Borrowed" the strap from the Remora and slapped 'er on this....

Wearing my "beater" 6105 today... I really need to get a new strap for this one, the Squinky tropic really isn't very comfortable.

Still working out if sacrificing a good dress watch was worth resurrecting this wabi'd old boy.

I've never tried one, I really should. They're not bad but too stiff by a hair. The biggest single challenge to the 6105 of either case style are the strap / bracelet choices.

Agreed, although I do really like Jonathan's h link, it's very comfortable. I would really like to have an affordable strap option as well.

This is actually the one reason why I prefer the 6309 over the 6105. I'm a big fan of the 6105 case, dial and hands.... but 19mm? Why?!?! Anyway, today I wore this one... I'm saying goodbye to it so I'm enjoying it while it's still with me...

Wore the 7S36 out snowblowing and running errands this morning.
Switched to the Super Sport for copper mining.

The real downside to Seiko's 19mm straps and WJean's replica is not the width but the hole spacing.
Centered on in the cutaways, they are a full centimeter apart, whereas more standard spacing is 7-8mm.
I still think it's the way to go, but if you get unlucky with your wrist size, you might look elsewhere for comfort.

One hole is a bit too tight, but the next hole is a bit too loose. Not an expensive strap, perhaps I'll punch a hole in between.
