I'd give this a whirl but as always, this case design makes finding a strap very difficult. I've had I don't know how many of this general model, and they always get sold, and I never remember why, and then I get another one and say "oh, right.". Also, I accidentally put in a 330W16 crystal into this (domed) before realizing that it should have been a 330W18 (flat). the domed one won't work as the sweep hand won't clear the underside of the domed crystal, but these watches look so much better with a domed crystal, like jaw-droppingly good. Hearbreakingly good, especially considering that it won't work.

M66 today. Cobalt chromium case, and what looks like no AR, on a cloudy day.

Hi gang! Long time, no post. I got this crazy idea into my head that I had cured myself of the watch bug, and avoided places like Wrist Sushi for a few months to help keep it that way. What foolishness! I have relapsed, and today I'm wearing my latest acquisition. It's not quite wrist sushi - maybe wrist dim sum? A 1975 manual-winding Shanghai 7120: This has the "tongji" movement which nearly all Chinese watch factories were mandated to manufacture during the days of Maoism. I'm really impressed at how well this thing keeps time. It seems to run a little fast for a while after being fully wound but once it settles down it'll stay within plus or minus 2 seconds for the day. Not bad!
