Yeah. I saw that one last night. Really cool movie kinda reminds me of Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman
If you want to laugh you ass off I suggest renting Haunted House. It's a spoof movie of the paranormal activity movies. Just keep the kids out of the room when watching it.

New baby, no movies.
I have been trolling Reddit which has a couple full movie sections. Rewatched "The Hobbit" and the first "Lord of the Rings" movie. Oh and I just watched Iron Man 3. Awesome movie actually, loved it.

Awesome movie actually, loved it. I thought The Hobbit sucked, nowhere near the quality of it's predecessors. The problem I have with the LOTR movies is that I've been a lifelong Tolkien fan - I've read all the books at least yearly since I was probably eight or nine years old. The movies aren't Tolkien if you ask me. They're "inspired by" Tolkien. Taken with that, they're OK. I need to rewatch all the LOTR movies so I can get the smell of The Hobbit out of my head.

Since I never read the books, I loved the movies...but Hobbit was terrible.

Since I never read the books, I loved the movies...but Hobbit was terrible. There are a lot of very English things to the books - English, pre-war. Lots of humor that didn't make it into the movies or was sort of debased IMO. Much of the character depth was removed, especially in LOTR. Frodo was supposed to be a gentle, middle-aged country gentleman who is thrust unwillingly into this world-shaking event, along with his rustic servant. They were transformed into two 20-something buddies with bad accents and permanent looks of horror and gloom stapled to their faces.

I also watched the Hobbit. First, I thought the quality was nowhere near LOTR which I am a huge fan of. But when I watched the Hobbit, I liked it. I am sure there will be more Hobbit series by the look of the end of the movie.
Right now I am watching "Another 48 Hours" by Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. My friend / coworker mentioned me about the "48 Hours" which I never knew. That one is next.
I will, later, watch Hansel and Gretel. Then some more action movies.
Good watchings, Comrades . . .

Flight was so good I bought it and have seen it 4 times now! It was good , but bloody depressing at times. Happy ending ,but his downward spiral was hard to watch. I've got family members that bad so it hit close to home.

Finally watching The Dark Knight Rises.
It's OK. Very dark, as in hard to see because it's so dark.

Cant wait to read it to my grandsons, they are 4 & a couple of months so not just yet.

Just finished watching Red Tails. I had no idea what it was about. Great film and I am sooooooooo glad that times have changed. Maybe it's the way I was brought up, but I just do not understand how the colour of someone's skin could make any difference at all. wtf.gif
